The division of Dermatopathology at Weill Cornell Medicine is pleased to announce its new Diagnosis Gallery. The gallery includes outstanding and interesting cases originating from around the world including New York City. Through high-quality illustrations of various lesions, the gallery reflects the diversity of daily practice. They encompass "routine" cases as well as the more complex and unusual.
This gallery is in real time with current cases. Dr. Jad Saab, our current chief resident in pathology, along with Dr. Shabnam Momtahen, have been very instrumental in contributing to the gallery. The goal is to better understand a disease process, the fundamental and critical principle of medical practice. It is the explicit comprehension of a disease process based on pathologic assessment that defines the foundation of therapeutic success.
Our Dermatopathologists are committed to teaching our medical students, residents and fellows, as well as contributing to the continuing medical education of practicing clinicians. Weill Cornell Medicine's diverse patient population allows for access to rare, complex and interesting diagnostic cases.
We are pleased to provide this online educational tool, including a quarterly Interesting Cases feature, for your perusal. Email Dr. Cynthia Magro for more information on any of these cases.
